The European Union trade aggrement with the United Kingdom has aggreed that products orgininating in either are free from duty when imported . In this case Cars manufactured in the United Kingdon and have over 40% of the value orgininating in the United Kingdom can be imported without duty to the EU . The import must come with a statment of orign from the exporter . This is the statment that must be made available to customs for inspection .

The exporter of the products covered by this document  declares that, except where otherwise clearly indicated, these products are of UNITED KINGDOM preferential origin
