Goods Movement Reference GMR
As of from the 1st of January 2022 all movement of commerical vehicles coming from the UK into an Irish port will need a GMR number from HMRC to allow check in at a UK port
This does not apply to people driving there newly acquired car on as a passenger and will only affect those who send there purchased vehicles either unaccompanied or part of a load .
