We are delighted to help private buyers here in Ireland import motors from abroad ,but we have now decided that unless the motor is a vintage (30 years old or more ) we can't import for people who buy privately without proper sales receipts .
We prefer you to buy from a Garage or an Auction house who can furnish you with a commercial invoice .
It really is hard to explain to people that buying a 2019 car for an unbelievably cheap price from a friend or acquaintance does not hold much water with the Customs people here
