For those of you who are moving to Ireland to live or work on a permenant basis  Revenue allow you import all your personal items here without paying duty or VAT.
In the case of motor vehicles this gives huge savings as you also do not have to pay VRT on your car you must follow strict criteria . We here in CarClear.ie do not do this type of work as you can do it yourself without the need of a customs agent
